Implant Supported Dentures
Custom-Fit! Secure! No Irritation!
Implant supported dentures are a dependable and durable alternative to standard dentures, dental bridges and traditional dental implants.
Why Import Supported Dentures
If you’re looking for a durable and comfortable way to replace missing teeth, you should consider this solution. Implant Supported Dentures make it easier to eat your favorite meals and engage in normal daily activities while your dentures remain secure in your mouth. There’s no need to worry about them coming loose or slipping out of place while eating, speaking or engaging in high-impact activities. Instead, you can rest assured your teeth will be secure regardless of what you do. Not only will this prevent unnecessary embarrassment, but it will also make life more comfortable. Your dentures will not be rubbing against your gums, avoiding irritation.
What to Expect
Before you begin the actual procedure, we will need to examine your gums to ensure you do not have any gum disease. If you do, we will treat the disease first. We will take x-rays to determine the density of your jawbone to find out if it’s sufficient for supporting the implants. Since these implants are shorter than traditional implants the jawbone is typically sufficient. We will then take an impression or mold of your mouth along with measurements. This information is sent to our lab for creation of your custom-made dentures meeting your exact specifications.
During the actual implant procedure, we numb your gums and provide you with anesthesia. Typically, we then place four small implants under your gum line. These implants serve as anchors for your new set of teeth. Once the implants are firmly in place we can snap your dentures onto the posts. These implants are an alternative to simply hoping your dentures stay in place and using adhesive to ensure they do.
