Dr. Robert Baumann is the founding dentist of Masterpiece Smiles in Oklahoma City, where he practiced for over 40 years before his retirement. Known for his dedication to patient care and a broad range of specialties, Dr. Baumann built a respected reputation throughout the Oklahoma City community.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Purdue University in 1973 and went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from St. Louis’s Washington University in 1976. Throughout his career, Dr. Baumann was committed to continuous improvement, staying at the forefront of advancements in dentistry.
With deep expertise in areas such as sedation dentistry, dental surgery, root canals, and dental implants, Dr. Baumann provided comprehensive care to patients for decades. His legacy continues to shape the standard of care at Masterpiece Smiles.
Dr. Baumann also served as chairman of the dental department at St. Anthony’s and was active in numerous well-reputed dental organizations, including the Oklahoma Board of Dental Governors Anesthesia Sub-Committee.
Dr. Baumann is an avid golfer, reader, cycling enthusiast, and lover of the slopes and country music. In his retirement, he enjoys spending time with his beloved dogs, a Jack Russell terrier named Bailey, and a Golden Retriever named Lucy. He also enjoys babysitting his granddaughter, Brynn who affectionately calls him “Big Papi”.
